She was elusive.
She was today. She was tomorrow.
She was the faintest scent of a cactus flower,
the flitting shadow of an elf owl.
We did not know what to make of her.
In our minds we tried to pin her to corkboard like a butterfly,
but the pin merely went through
and away she flew.

[ PMS ]
Seems like I'm developing PMS these days (I know of many who'd keep their PMS schedule a sacred secret). Well, you can almost say that this is my first round of such or at the very least the first time I actually realized it. I've been going through such an emotional roller coaster ride that I almost dropped my sanity during the none-too-gentle ride.

[ Alas, a layout! ]
*enjoying the fruit of my labour*
Hope that you enjoy the new layout as much as I do... especially those nifty buttons up there ^^
Warning, spoiler alert!
I've been spending most of the morning reading 'I am Morgan le Fay' by Nancy Springer. The tale tells about Morgan's tragic childhood days and how she became the legendary Morgan le Fay. I used to view Morgan from a cynical eyeview, yet now, that place is reserved for none other than Arthur. That sexist moron deserves nothing! Arrrrrrgh! One thing to note is that Morgan has a lover far before she met Sir Accolon here, a bitter-sweet tale with a notable amount of empahisize on Annie the donkey.
Anyway, there's a similar story of this give-the-minor-characters-the-spotlight-will-you? kind that I read quite recently. The book is interestingly enough titled 'Dating Hamlet - Ophelia's Story'. It was told in this story that Ophelia is one worthy of the title 'heroine'. She was said to be a brave alchemist who gets what she deserves by the end of the book, much unlike Shakespeare's version of a tragedy.
About 'Victoria and the Rogue' which I mentioned a few days ago, that book, too is one worth your money, especially if you are a fan of Meg Cabot aka Jenny Carol (spelling?)'s tales. It is generally better than 'Nicola and the Viscount', although some little flaws can be spotted in the form of some "she could have done this"s and such.
Err... why am I doing book reviews (err, something of that sort at least) out of the blue moon? *wheee, moooon*

[ Stupid comp! *thwacks* ]
Me ish pissed -____-;;;
First thing first. I haven't been using the computer and did not intend to. Sound good enough? Now here comes the problem. I actually did use the computer, not for leisure purposes yet for the troublesome task of bloody fixing it. So there I was, sitting in front of the computer for like two hours or so, feeling satisfied by the end of the day (literally so) that I managed to fix the problems... only to hear a report from my mother/brother saying that it's gone haywire again instead of a warm 'welcome home' greeting after school. Everything's fine now though, it was figured out that the problem lies within that pesky rat *coughs* mouse. Currently, I'm waiting (doing everything without the luxury of a mouse... yeah, I can live without it... barely) for my brother to be back from his errand of buying a mouse albeit the fact that he does not use the computer. At all. You heard (read) it right, he's 100% illiterate when it comes to electronic devices which require reading such as my beloved computer.
Anyway, let's move on to the next matter which is buging the heck out of me. Me ain't no havin' any ballet lessons today. The stupid management people are using the aerobics room (rather, the whole club house) from 4-8! I mean, doesn't they care about how much inconvenience they are causing to us residents? Hrrrmph! There goes my ballet slippers, gotta wait for another loooong week ><" On the bright side however, now I've got more time to do *shivers* homework.
*waiting and crossing my fingers (yet still being able to type) so that everything would really be solved when the new mouse is around*

[ That cute guy... ]
Ok, back from the dentist just now (braces, what else?), I met this ultra cute guy *hyperventilates*. At first, I was admiring this girl and trying to figure out what made her so attractive. Right then and there (gosh, how i hate cliche phrases), this man standing in front of her gave her a kiss. Allright, I am no die-hard supporter of public display of affections yet this particular scene is not one which made me turn my face away the way I'd naturally do. Instead, I cast my first sight upon Adonis (that's how I imagine the god Adonis to be at least).
He was looking so adorable with his hair gelled up (yet unlike 99% of the population, this one actually enhances his perfect facial features if that's even possible). Perfect. Every single particle of his face was undeniably molded by the fingers of God himself, all to fit in the grandeur picturesque. Perfect.
Such great view did not last long however as I had to alight at the next MRT stop. Somehow, we shared the same destination. Sadly enough, I did not manage to catch more than a few glimpses of his face without completely destroying the facade of a perfectly sane person that I donned on. I was privileged with the majestic view of his back however. The way he walked was... sexy! As if he's a model or something, which is not entirely impossible given his incomparable looks and his tall and well-toned built. His fashion sense only served to further enhance his appereance. He was wearing a semi formal attire consisting of white shirt (I dont actually know what that long sleeved thing is called ><") and black pants. He managed to fold his sleeves up his elbows. Even with just that, the bulge of his biceps were visible... to those paying a close attention at least.
I would have hated that lucky girl to the end of her life if it was not for the next thing he did. He smoked. And tell you what, drop-dead-gorgeous prince charming as he was, the turn-off that his little action (not little by my standard nevertheless) weighed more. Poor hunk, I'd just hope that someday he'll quit smoking before it's all too late. Having someone like him dying out of lung cancer in the hospital's bed is not a pretty sight I suppose.
Moral of the story: Gentlemen, smoking ruins your life... and spoils the first impression an admiring little girl has on you :D

[ Chiisy again ]
Meuuuuh, can't deny that this is getting kinda exciting. I mean, just imagine! Someone to share a blog with (translation: someone to actually remind me to blog!). Not just that, the prospect of actually having a joint blog in itself amuses me ^^. Anyway, the first fondational posts had been laid :)
Whee, I've quite a number of books from the library just now plus 'Victoria and the Rogue' which I bought just yesterday. Oh, have I mentioned that I've got a little of this bookworm virus integrated within me? :D
Homework still not done *screams around the room in terror, yet still clutching her books nevertheless*

[ Chiisy~* ]
Lookieee, me has a new blogsie. It is to be a blog I'm gonna share with Liao Zhiqi of Tanjong Katong Secondary School, batch of 2004, class of 4D, register number... erm, or as also known as Chii (I named her that btw - for the simple reason of me being unable to pronounce her name properly x_X).
Today is Ka Ying's birthday (my dearest tall dark and handsome friend *cheesy grin*), a classmate of Liao Zhiqi of Tanjong Katong Secondary School, batch of 2004, cla... :D
King Arthur was not too nice of a movie. It gave me the rather bland impression. Ok ok, so it's a based-on-a-true-story kinda thing (perhaps) budden, it could use a little more imagination I suppose. A bit of a disappointment yet I'm more than overjoyed to watch it all the same (fyi, I have a strange obsession of those Greek mythology, round-table-legend, etc).
Hmm, I thought of a theory just now. There is a very intimate connection between a house and its owner's personality. People who invite others to come over tend to be a member of extroverted band; and those who like to visit others' are either interested to find out more about them, are insecure about their own's or even a combination of both. Then again, this is just my theory. Please do give me a hand by confronting me with your point of view of the matter ;)

[ Donghaeng...walking with him (www.donghaeng.net) ]
Nice site they've got here. I especially love the newest addition: String.
I've been thinking. Perhaps I must learn to be more grateful. After all, it isn't like I didn't even meet the requirement of the college or something. And another thing: It's critical for me to pay attention to every single happenings and not let my mind wander away. Connnncentrate, connnnnnnncentrate, connnnnnn *falls asleep midway through the meditation*

[ 'Thank you' ]
Ok, lemme ask you a question:
If therere are phrases like 'thank you, 'thank you so much' and 'thank you very much', why isn't there any 'thank you much?'
My toefl test was a nightmare ><"
My range of score is a mere 231-280 (if i'm not mistaken). What worsens it is that I KNOW THAT I COULD HAVE DONE BETTER!!! I was having my head high in the sky while the listening part was going on and went like 'omigoshimsupposedtobelistening'. On the structure as well as reading compre part, similar scenarios took place. I just wanted to get things over and done with... anyhow tikam tikam T.T *bonks own head* Essay part: I'm scared that I wrote a little out of point or something ><". Wish me all the best yah~
Next: Yesterday I was having my first ballet lesson with that private instructor. Another depressing thing. I found out that I'm oh-too-stiff, forgot all the moves, can't even do a single perfect pirouette (not that I had gone anywhere near perfect) and even gave her the blur look when she instructed me to do a balancè... I was wondering whether to do a balancè de bure (spelling?) or de cotte (spelling?) actually. The stupid thing is I didn't even tell her, she'd most probably think that I'm this stupid pathetic idiot who just claimed to be a grade-five-student when I don't know a single thing about ballet. ><" me ish belly sad ><"

Disclaimer:
I DID NOT come up with the title 'Uncreative Unlimited' myself. It was the title of this Rurouni Kenshin (RK) fansite which I truly adore, yet, which is no longer online, just like other such RK sites. If anybody has any information regarding whom I can contact to ask for a proper permission, please do mail me at vissy_valentine@yahoo.com. Thank you.
