She was elusive.
She was today. She was tomorrow.
She was the faintest scent of a cactus flower,
the flitting shadow of an elf owl.
We did not know what to make of her.
In our minds we tried to pin her to corkboard like a butterfly,
but the pin merely went through
and away she flew.

[ Moron 5 ]
What's with the title? There was this MTV VJ who mispronounced 'Maroon 5' as 'Moron 5'. Pretty catchy for a title, eh? I've been watching MTV since that first night in Bintan. Can't believe that all these while I've lived a button away from MTV and I didn't make use it. It's only when I was in Singapore with no access to MTV that I started to miss it. Not that I'm this addict whatsoever but hey, the VJs do put out some interesting acts, don't they?

[ Movie Marathon ]
Just a while ago, I spent more than nine hours sticking my eyeballs on the television. I was having a movie marathon consisting of One Piece, Bruce Allmighty and Shark Tale. One Piece and Shark Tale were rather disappointing, in my opinion. It was Bruce Allmighty which outshone the rest. That movie was brilliant. Allright, so I can't help but be biased towards a Jim Carrey movie (that joker is my favorite actor *adds that info to the sidebar*). I hope that I'm not being blasphemous by liking that movie x_x.
Warning: Spoiler detected.
Moving on, I found that there are some things in common between Bruce Allmighty and Shark Tale. For one, both the main characters, Bruce and Oscar come from a neighbourhood with middle-range income (Bruce claimed that his lifestyle is 'mediocre' though I wouldn't mind staying in that more-than-just-average apartment) and they both aspired to be something bigger; both of them wished for fame that's for sure. Allright, the second point is, they both have a lover who do not receive enough love/attention. Well, that's where the similarities end cause at least Bruce Allmighty does not force everyone to be good which is what happens in Shark Tale. I wonder what the sharks eat if not for the fishes.
That reminds me. A few days ago I finally got the chance to watch Polar Express. So they're right. It's not really that good. There are some points which it must be praised of though. First off, there are those roller-coaster-like scenes. It would be a great idea to include those scenes in a 3D simulator ride. Then, there is the North Pole. That place was just so purrrdy! The Christmas carolling wasn't that bad either. *sighs* Such a shame that I never believed in Santa.

[ Talking about food... ]
Herewith, I officially announce that my favorite food is none other than the healthy, tasty, can-be-cooked-in-a-thousand-and-one-ways *drumroll* SALMON! Yeah baby! Give me salmon anytime and you'll find me blushing that tint of salmon! (rrrright... for your info, I don't blush x_x) *dances around with images of various types of salmon dishes in the mind*

[ Holidae~ ]
Ever since my last post, I've been to Bintan, back again to Singapore, to Indonesia and am currently enjoying zis peaceful paradise. Bintan was such an excellent weekend getaway, especially if you stay at Nirwana Resort. Don't worry, they're not paying me a penny for saying all this. Trust me, the magnificent view, the pristine white sand and even the game arcade will provide you all the de-stress you need. Oh and that all-day-long all-you-can-eat meals! Goodness, can you ever imagine that for one vacation, all the meals you have will be buffet meals? *recalls how she burried her face in all those foods* And yeah, that place is the closest to paradise-on-earth that I can think of.
